Jill Saynor was born in Sheffield. After leaving school she did a two-year NNEB course to enable her to work with children. She is currently working as a teaching assistant in a year one class supporting an individual child. She started writing stories for her own children when they were young so it became a hobby.

Billy is the last slice of bread left in the bread bin in the kitchen where he lives with his friends, the Kitchen Gang. Today is a very important day for Billy, but WHOOPS, he has forgotten what it is. The Kitchen Gang have remembered though.
